THE SEASON
Smithers Minor Hockey season starts in September and runs through to the
end of March.
AGE
ELIGIBLITY
Players register in one of the following catagories based on their age as
of Desember 31 of the current playing season. The Divisions are as follows:
- Age 5/6 - Initiation
- Age 7/8 - Novice
- Age 9/10 - Atom
- Age 11/12 - Peewee
- Age 13/14 - Bantam
- Age 15-17 - Midget

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Full equipment is required for participation in all age catagories. This
consists of:
~ CSA approved Helmet
~ Neck Protector
~ Elbow Pads
~ Shoulder Pads
~ Hockey Pants
~ Hockey Gloves
~ Athletic Cup
~ Shin Pads
~ Hockey socks and garter
~ Hockey Skates
~ Hockey Stick
~ Equipment Bag
REGISTRATION FORM
Early Registration will be held Saturday June 12th, 2009 from
9:00am –
1:00pm and Monday June 14th from 7:00pm-8:00pm at
the SMHA Executive room at the arena.
